Don't worry about the number of pitchers -- you can only have a maximum of 14.
I'll try to get some more done tomorrow. These later rounds will have a lot of blackballs, so they take a little longer.

Several teams are at the 14 pitcher limit (using first listed position).
K Hernandez, R Conner, and R Kiner are now on the board. db finally got some expensive players - both 1B men.
Mark's team is carrying some decent lumber for this league, but that's about it. Good luck with those pitchers.
Until the last 2 picks, my team was confused that it was in a pitcher-catcher league.

Each round is taking quite a long time - many blackballs & most teams are at the 14 pitcher limit. I will finish the last 4 rounds tonight. I must go spend some quality time with the family.
I will also post the "Let it Ride" players for round one this evening. The players will come from the blackball list.

I just loaded my 24 players into my draft. Wow! Until I did that I didn't really have a handle on what I've got. What a mess. I guess that is what makes this fun....my brain is starting to hurt trying to figure this all out. Question: I know the draft is based on players $1.5M+. Are we held to that number once we start making transactions? Can I drop my $6M 2nd catcher for a $700K catcher?

Mark - you can get load up on $500K players with your transactions. There is no minimum salary. We just used $1.5 million for the draft. There are still several 2B left to pick from in the catalogue.

The draft is over. The last few rounds took a few hours to complete. With all the extra pitchers and blackballs, Dwight's last pick took about 30 minutes (all of that for Tim Laudner).
Paul - I got a kick out of your "Let it Ride" player. Finally, a catcher! I think Eric was hogging all the catchers.
For those of you who don't know - Travis is my brother. He does not have any inside information, as evidenced by his team. Travis, you are welcome for the "let it ride" player.
There are a few pretty good teams out there -- you know who you are.
My team has exactly two players with an RC600 over 72. But the team is loaded with reserve middle infielders. There are 4 players on the team that are not pitchers, middle infielders, or catchers. No 1B or 3B. I think we will be playing in Yellowstone Park.
Stadium selection - feel free to take ANY stadium (duplicates are ok). Many of us need all the help we can get.
Go ahead and submit your team (without the "let it ride" players). After the league is formed, then you can make your transactions.
TRANSACTIONS
- You only have 5 preseason moves. Once you make a move, it is final. You can't go back and change it (unless you accidentally pick a blackballed player -- see rules). If everyone kept making and unmaking moves, then it would be too hard to determine how many have been made. With that said, if you accidentally make a huge screw-up, send me an email or post on the board and we'll try to fix what we can. The idea is to have fun in these leagues.
- You can make a 6th preseason move only if you take your "let it ride" player. Sometimes, it is good just to take this player so you can off load an extra worthless player. There is no penalty for not taking the first "let it ride" player.
- Blackballed players - check the list before any move. Obviously, these players are off limits (except when they are your "let it ride" player - then you can pick them).
Feel free to ask questions if you are confused about anything.

I think I am lucky enough to have one of those good teams. At least I have all the positions covered. Hope I don't screw it up from here.
