      2)      Definitions

· Player MOVE – an exchange of a rostered player for a player in the player pool

· QUARANTINED Player – A player with a salary over $8 Million who has been acquired from the player pool by a team during preseason. This player will be removed from the league pool the subsequent two seasons. [This forces teams to use different players]

      3)      Pre Draft Preparation

        · Team Draft order will be randomized.

        · Quarantined players will be removed from the catalog.

      4)      The Draft

· Each team is guaranteed 1 player between $11M-$17M.

· Each team will get no more than 4 players between $1M-$1.5M

· Random Roster Generator software program will create roster from current catalog (minus quarantined players).

· Draft will be conducted in straight line fashion.

·  Once a team reaches $100M in salary, the remaining players thru round 25 will be between $1 million and $2.5 million.   Rounds 26-28 will then use the remaining salary.

· Each team will have at least 4 Starting pitchers, but no more than 7 SPs.  Each team will have no more than 12 pitchers (primary position).  Any pitcher designated as RP/SP and is over $5 million will count as a starting pitcher.  Under $5 million, the RP/SP will count as a reliever.

· Each team will be restricted to 4 players at any one position

· DH players will only be assigned during a DH season

· The draft will be posted on the league’s website   https://blinddraw.jimdofree.com/

6)       Post Draft /Preseason

· Each team must keep their most expensive player acquired in the draft.  Here are the exceptions to this rule:

1. The HPP, on your roster, cannot be traded or released until after game 1 of the season.
2. However, who your HPP is can change.
- If you acquire, via free agency or trade, a player who is higher in price than your HPP, that player then becomes your HPP and is subjected to rule #1.
- The condition of picking up that new HPP is that you can't use your current HPP to pick up the new HPP.
- Example 1: An HPP is Derek Jeter. If Alex Rodriguez is picked up in free agency, It cannot be done  using Derek Jeter. It must be done using another player and whatever available cash is available. At that point, ARod becomes the HPP and  Derek Jeter can be traded or cashed in.
- Example 2: This is a much rarer case, but it could happen. Another team has 2 players worth more than Derek Jeter. A trade is made for their lesser one (because they can't trade their HPP). However, Jeter can't be in the trade (because he is the HPP). Once the trade is completed, the new player received becomes the HPP and Jeter can now be traded or released.

· Each team has up to 6 preseason MOVES (some seasons my have less).

· Any player selected from the player pool with a Salary of $8 Million or greater in preseason is QUARANTINED and will sit out the next two Trading Post seasons.

      7)      Regular Season

· You cannot make any highest priced player MOVES until game one of the regular season has been played.

· You have up to 6 in-season MOVES to make (some seasons may have less).

· A team can drop or trade its most expensive drafted player after game 1 of the season.

· Each owner must keep a tally of their preseason and in season moves, posted on the league board (Post Transactions Here thread).

A team will be rewarded an extra transaction if a player is injured for the remainder of the season and that team has zero transactions remaining. Here are the stipulations:
- Transaction can only occur during week 8.
- At the time of the transaction, the player cashed in has to have more games to be missed than there are games remaining to be played.
- The player must be cashed in for a similar positioned player. Example: If Troy Tulowitzki goes down for 36 games in week 8, you can't replace him with Roger Clemens.
- The transaction must be posted as a standalone message on the league board.
